U.F.O at the Olympic Trials

Question: Is this a U.S. Army helicopter?

If it wasn't, can someone tell me what it was? I'd really like to know. It was circling over Hayward Field many times on July 4. It wasn't a TV news chopper, nor was it a tourist flight (not big enough). It looked like a recon-type chopper.
I believe it was Donald Rumsfeld searching for those WMD's.

Bought it with my allowance at Kay-Bee Toys (saved for MONTHS). Didn't really do much other than go up and down, but I thought it was super cool.

Someone was observing the activities from the sky just like you were on the ground. Military and law enforcement do not use these type of helicopters - they are mostly utilized by private business, training facilities and photographers.
