Eugene's Riverfront Bike Trail Video

Eugene's riverfront bike trails are one of the most popular things ever built in Eugene. Last Sunday saw a wide range of Eugeneans out enjoying the sunny weather and riverside parks. Thanks to a video camera strapped to the handlebars with an old inner tube and songs from Mal Webb and David Rovics, here's a quick tour:

Thanks Alan

Hi Alan,
Thank you so much for contributing to last week's article on Dave Minor and his life. I was touched to read your news segment; it was succinct, meaningful and gave me some background (through facts) that I didn't know about before. I hope that we can bring the issue of sharing the roads safely to the forefront in the upcoming weeks and months. This is not a problem that is going away. Thank you for taking current events and exploring them in a newsworthy way. There is a great Letter to the Editor in today's Register-Guard today about Dave; it is writing from the heart and it makes you think about the most important things in life- hope you can check it out. In the meantime, thanks again for sharing your gift of great writing and helping Weekly readers explore current events through a new lens.
