I guess big contributions from developers don't buy proof readers.
Then again, given the recent sex scandals, maybe we do need to "improve the moral[s] of our police force."
Isn't Jim Torrey, or as I know him...Jim the Talking Carp, the chair of the Eugene 08 Volunteer committee? Aren't they the ones who helped promote "diversity training" with their video on "how to talk to black people?
JT is a true politician. The only thing you can count on to be true is that he will say what ever it takes to get your vote.
I worked with the man for over a year. He cheated the school district and scholarship families with the excuse "sometimes it is better to ask for forgiveness rather than permission."
His budget skills are questionable. The product of Waldport High School he is out of his league in this town when it comes to being able to fashion a functional budget.
Please, Please, Please - send Jim back to being Grandpa, Dad, and Husband - Not MAYOR!
