Portland Center Stage: Storm Large photos!

Y'all probably know about Portland's Storm Large, about whom former Willy Week arts-special-sections-and-all-things-gay maven Byron Beck wrote this 2007 story.

If I remember correctly, Cabaret did fine for Portland Center Stage, and now PCS (which Twitters amusingly here) has Large doing a show called Crazy Enough, starting with previews on March 31 and opening April 3.

PCS has got it going on with the web. A few months ago, former calendar editor Chuck Adams and I got invited to a "Twitter and live-blog" press performance at PCS. We laughed it off ... but I would SO take that opportunity now that I've become a Twitaddict. But also, PCS (and hi, local theater/performing arts companies, please do take a page from this) regularly sends links to bloggable and print-quality photos.

Now, I'll be at Actors Cabaret's The Producers this weekend and then LCC's Arcadia, and though I'd urge people to stick with local theater first, I'd be remiss if I didn't occasionally tell the Eugene audience about other opportunities (for instance, last February Chuck and I went to PCS, and reviewed two shows for the paper, and of course there are our many Ashland extravaganzas).
