It's very interesting to see how this show got its start. Bill Meade approached Cash before his death and asked for the rights to put his music on stage. Bill was the only person who was able to convince Cash to allow him to put his music up on stage. The arrangement of songs is an interesting way of putting together how Cash lived and the turmoil and strife he went through. Cash did suffer many upsets but did make it through. He is a tribute to the spirit of man and this theatre production only adds to the legacy of Johnny Cash.
